  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses

Application Process

To apply for this scholarship, follow these steps:

  1. Apply for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Southampton

  2. Complete and submit the online scholarship application form by the deadline

The application deadline is 21 April 2026, 5pm (UK time). Late applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 30 May 2026. Successful candidates will receive a confirmation email with an attached award letter.

Selection Process

The scholarship selection involves a rigorous five-stage process:

  1. Verification of eligibility criteria, scoring, and ranking of academic qualifications from UCAS or Postgraduate application forms

  2. Shortlisting candidates globally to recognize talent and support diversity, with special consideration for applicants from Least Developed Countries, Low Income, or Lower Middle Income countries

  3. Shortlisting candidates across both the School of Humanities and Winchester School of Art to recognize academic excellence in all subject areas

  4. Scoring and ranking of supporting statements provided in applications

  5. Final selection by a panel chaired by the Dean of Arts and Humanities or their nominated representative

It's important to note that this is a competitive process, and not all applications will be successful. The decision of the scholarship panel is final.
