What is Future News Worldwide?
Future News Worldwide is a partnership program between the British Council and some of the world's leading media organizations. The initiative aims to support young media talents in developing a wide range of journalism skills while positioning the UK as a global leader in promoting young journalists and media professionals.
This year, 100 of the world's most capable, self-confident, motivated, and enthusiastic student journalists will have the opportunity to attend an intensive media training program designed to enhance their skills and expand their professional networks.

Eligibility Criteria
This opportunity is perfect for passionate journalists across various media formats. To be eligible, you must:
Be between 18-25 years old on July 1, 2020
Not have participated in previous Future News Worldwide or Future News programs
Be committed to pursuing a career in journalism in any form (writer, blogger, vlogger, photographer, radio journalist, or any other media-related field)
Be available to travel to and from the UK between July 11-16, 2020
Be an undergraduate, postgraduate student, or recent graduate
Note: Shortlisted candidates will need to provide strong evidence of their eligibility, including proof of identity, age, student status, and English language ability.
