University of Dayton Merit Scholarships: Rewarding Academic Excellence
The University of Dayton offers generous merit scholarships to incoming first-year students, providing financial support of up to $33,000 per year for four years. These scholarships are designed to recognize and reward students for their academic achievements and hard work during their high school years.

One of the most appealing aspects of these scholarships is that you'll automatically be considered when you apply for admission to the University of Dayton. There's no separate scholarship application required, and the university doesn't charge an application fee. The scholarship awards are based on various criteria including your GPA, test scores (if submitted), and the academic rigor of your coursework.

Additionally, if you receive external scholarships, you'll need to notify Flyer Student Services. These external awards are counted as resources and may affect your eligibility for other need-based aid.
