The Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is now accepting applications for its Summer Internship Program 2020 in Barcelona, Spain. This fully funded internship opportunity will run from June/July to September 2020, offering students from around the world a chance to gain valuable laboratory experience in a world-class research environment.
Program Overview
The CRG Summer Internship aims to provide students with practical experience in genomic research and related fields. The program consists of 320 working hours spread over two months between June/July and September. All participants are required to be at CRG during the week of July 20th, 2020, as special activities will be organized during this period.

Financial Coverage
This is a fully funded opportunity with the following benefits:
Monthly stipend of €400
Return travel ticket for non-Barcelona residents (up to €300 for European travel or €800 for overseas travel)
Meal vouchers for lunch on working days throughout the two-month period
Note: Interns must provide their own health and accident insurance if not offered by their university.

Eligibility Criteria
For Undergraduate Students:
Excellent academic record and strong interest in the available research fields
Completion of two full years (4 semesters) of college coursework by the start of the internship
Must not have obtained an undergraduate degree by the time of the internship (Summer 2020)
High level of English language communication skills
Availability to secure a student placement/internship contract through your university
For Master Students:
Outstanding academic record and keen interest in the available research fields
Current enrollment in a Master's program at a certified university, with plans to continue after the summer internship
High level of English language communication skills
Availability to secure a student placement/internship contract through your university
Application Process
Applications are accepted exclusively online through the CRG's application system. All applications must be prepared and submitted in English.
